M.G. ROBINSON
is a dedicated law enforcement officer with years of experience serving in Brookfield, New Jersey. As a Black man raised in a low-income community, Robinson has firsthand knowledge of both sides of the societal divide—as a civilian navigating systemic racism and as a police officer striving to make a difference. His journey is marked by personal tragedy, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to justice.

Robinson has served as a detective, patrol officer, and academy instructor, with a special focus on cultural diversity and bridging the gap between law enforcement and marginalized communities. He is also a public speaker, sharing his experiences to promote empathy, understanding, and change within the criminal justice system. BLACK COP: A True Black and Blue Story is not his debut book. His first book, Overseer, was his debut.
